Director of Infrastructure & Security

We are growing rapidly and expanding our AI and enterprise integration capabilities. We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Director of Infrastructure & Security to lead our infrastructure, cloud security, compliance operations, and security strategy.
About the Role:
The Director of Infrastructure & Security will lead the design, security, reliability, and operational maturity of QAPIplus’s cloud infrastructure and security program.
This role is responsible for overseeing Azure infrastructure, security operations, HIPAA and SOC 2 controls, disaster recovery, monitoring, identity management, and infrastructure scalability while partnering closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
This is a leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations- Own and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and production environments
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and uptime
- Manage disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning
- Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational visibility
- Develop and maintain infrastructure standards and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure architecture and deployment strategies
- Lead the organization’s infrastructure and security strategy
- Oversee vulnerability management, remediation, and security monitoring
- Manage endpoint security, access controls, MFA, IAM, and privileged access management
- Coordinate penetration testing and security assessments
- Lead incident response planning and execution
- Partner with development teams to strengthen secure SDLC practices
- Evaluate and improve application, infrastructure, and network security posture
- Support and maintain HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance programs
- Assist with audit preparation, evidence collection, and security documentation
- Respond to enterprise customer security reviews and questionnaires
- Manage security policies, procedures, and operational controls
- Help drive SOC 2 Type II operational maturity
- Support secure AI implementation and governance initiatives
- Review AI-related security, privacy, and data protection controls
- Assist with AI risk management and data governance practices
- Help establish standards for responsible AI usage within healthcare environments
Required
Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud operations, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure environments
- Experience supporting HIPAA-compliant healthcare SaaS platforms
- Experience with SOC 2 security controls and audit processes
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices
- Experience with IAM, SSO, MFA, and identity governance
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience with vulnerability management and incident response
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in healthcare technology or post-acute care
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications
- Azure-native services
- Experience with AI/LLM security governance
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, or similar

About the Role:
The Client Success & Onboarding Manager is responsible for leading the successful onboarding, implementation, and adoption of QAPIplus solutions across multi-site and single-site healthcare organizations. This role serves as the primary implementation lead for client onboarding and deployment efforts involving multiple service lines, departments, and stakeholder groups. The Client Success & Onboarding Manager will oversee implementation strategy, project planning, stakeholder management, communication, training coordination, phased rollouts, and implementation operations while ensuring clients achieve expected outcomes and timelines. This individual will work closely with Sales, Client Success, Product, Support, and Executive Leadership to deliver exceptional client experiences from contract execution through successful go-live and transition to ongoing account management.
In addition to managing implementations, this role will assist in onboarding workflows and implementation performance metrics to ensure scalable and efficient client onboarding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership- Lead onboarding and implementation of projects for healthcare organizations, including health systems, multi-location providers, and national organizations.
- Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Manage phased, staggered, and multi-site rollouts across numerous facilities and operational teams.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and obstacles while proactively developing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accountability for project scope, timeline, communication, and successful delivery.
- Maintain ownership of implementation outcomes from kickoff through successful go-live and transition to ongoing client management.
- Serve as the primary implementation contact for executive sponsors, administrators, clinical leaders, quality teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and implementation status reviews.
- Manage stakeholder expectations while maintaining alignment with project objectives.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of client organizations.
- Coordinate all implementation activities including platform configuration, user setup, training, testing, validation, and go-live readiness.
- Ensure all implementation tasks are completed according to agreed-upon schedules.
- Oversee onboarding activities including platform configuration, user provisioning, training schedules, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Establish standardized project management practices and implementation methodologies.
- Develop repeatable deployment frameworks for large-scale enterprise clients.
- Facilitate pilot launches, phased expansions, and enterprise-wide deployments.
- Monitor adoption metrics and implementation success indicators across multiple locations.
- Ensure consistency of implementation experience while accommodating unique organizational requirements.
- Recommend process improvements that increase implementation efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
- Support the creation and maintenance of implementation playbooks, templates, SOPs, and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve onboarding workflows and reduce time-to-value for new clients.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and implementation records.

Required
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of implementation, project management, onboarding, client success, consulting, or healthcare technology experience.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong implementation, organizational, operational, and client management skills.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Experience leading executive-level client meetings.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Experience within healthcare, home health, hospice, post-acute care, or healthcare technology.
- Experience implementing SaaS platforms.
- Experience managing enterprise accounts and multi-location organizations.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience utilizing project management and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Jira, Monday.com, Asana, Trello, or similar solutions.
- Experience building operational reports, implementation metrics, and resource planning models.
